The 4th Annual February Faceoff challenge is almost here! During the month of February, St. Mark's, along with other independent schools, is participating in a friendly competition to raise annual fund awareness and participation in the 10 youngest classes of 2004 - 2013.

Participating schools include Cushing, BB&N, Brooks, Governor's, Groton, Lawrence, Middlesex, St. Mark's, and Tabor. We'll compare how many Annual Fund gifts we receive from our young alumni with the other schools to determine who comes out on top. St. Mark's came in 4th last year (beating Groton) with an increase in participation of nearly 19%.

To help propel St. Mark's to #1 this year, an alumnus from the class of 1945 has offered to make each gift count even more by pledging an additional $100 for every gift made during February Faceoff. And for alumni looking to give a little more, Young Alumni Founder's Associates gifts made in February will be matched two to one by this alum!

A common concern voiced by young alumni is that their gift will not be large enough to make a difference. February Faceoff was created to overcome this perception by motivating more recent graduates to get involved. Young alumni account for more than 25% of all St. Mark's alumni. The influence young alumni can have on St. Mark's present and future cannot be overlooked. With enough participation, young alumni have the power to make a significant impact on our School.

Young alumni will hear from their Class Agents, as well as from the School during February to learn how to participate. Click here for more information.
