A Message from Dean Grasso

Greetings, CEMS alumni, faculty, staff, students, and friends,

I'm writing to wish each of you a Happy Pi Day (3/14)! Pi, , expressed as the ratio of the circumference of a circle to its diameter is an irrational number (i.e., it will continue without repeating) and is one of the most important constants in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.

Visit the official Pi Day web site to learn more about this special number and why March 14th is celebrated the world over. Don't forget to visit our CEMS web site or visit to catch up on the latest exciting news from the College, perhaps with a piece of your favorite pie.

Bon appétit,
Domenico Grasso
